Recent insights from Rightmove have further validated our positive experience, indicating that February has emerged as one of the most opportune months to list your property. According to Rightmove’s data, February stands out as the best month to list a home on average. Properties listed in this month not only have a higher likelihood of finding a buyer but also tend to secure a buyer more swiftly, often marked as sold subject to contract.

A remarkable 66.4% of homes listed in February have successfully found a buyer.

The analysis from Rightmove, based on millions of properties listed for sale since 2012 (excluding 2020 due to the pandemic), reveals compelling statistics. On average, homes listed in February take just 51 days to find a buyer, closely followed by March at 52 days, and on par with January. Furthermore, a remarkable 66.4% of homes listed in February have successfully found a buyer, making it the month with the best chance of a successful sale, along with April.

What’s intriguing is that February listings not only excel in finding buyers but also exhibit a higher likelihood of finalising the sale, making them the most likely to complete the entire sales process. Additionally, these listings are the least likely to be withdrawn by the owner from the market, underscoring the stability and commitment associated with February-listed properties.

Simultaneously, there is an 11% uptick in the number of new properties being listed by sellers, signalling a heightened level of activity and interest.
